Shariah TV - in Britian

This is not a joke. Channel 4, a prominent British tv channel, has a program titled Shariah TV. (thanks to LGF)

I happen to be listening to a radio interview with members of Monty Python, which is creating a kind of cognitive dissonance. Shariah TV sounds sooo much like an old Python skit that I can almost remember it. I don't know whether to laugh or run screaming.
